Getting Started Small w/ CFL's...Again...But a little bigger this time.

Pwizzle, thanx a million for stopping by and giving me some much needed input. I was wondering if I should use the seeded bud as the "bar", letting me know about how big the rest will look when about ready. I can't wait to see what the seeds look like when they are ready to pop, I've been...

Getting Started Small w/ CFL's...Again...But a little bigger this time.

Sooo... an old high school friend stopped by last night and we got to talking about growing. He is going to get his medical card today, and I am hopefully going to get my caregiver card soon. I decided to give him a sneak peek at what I have going on currently in the box and he was shocked at...

New with cfl's and growing a few questions???

LST and close light proximity will create short bushy plants. After a 6 week veg my plants were about 1 sq ft wide and only 6 inches tall from the soil in a 1 gallon grow bag.

Enter The Scrog/Scroggers United Post Page

Would anyone have any suggestions as to what sized screen I should use for 3 65w cfl's. I have a small armoire that is roughly 5ft tall 2ft wide 1.5ft deep, horizontally divided in half into two chambers. I was thinking of possibly taking out the division and putting in a wall to wall screen...

The new crop isn't quite large enough yet to do any supercropping, but I have been looking into it a bit more. Thanx to your lead, I have found a few other helpful videos that have inspired some yeild increasing ideas. Thanx a million. I'll get some pics up once I get ahold of that camera again...

BongKing, maybe you could point me in the right direction toward some good supercropping info and results. That was actually going to be my next research topic. I've heard it explained a few different ways, as with any techique, everyone has their own way of doing it. Any pointers for this next...

Getting Started Small w/ CFL's...Again...But a little bigger this time.

Today marks the end of week 3 of flower. Had a bit of a mishap shortly after lights on yesterday. Adjusted the light on the right side and for some reason the light on the left decided to lower itself onto 3 of my tops. Of course this was during my nap, so it went unnoticed long enough to brown...

Getting Started Small w/ CFL's...Again...But a little bigger this time.

So I went thru and added up the N-P-K values in the flower mix I have. Without the BloomBastic I was thinking about adding next week my values are at 8-16-21. What should I do to lower my N, and should I add the BloomBastic? (I am only giving half strength mix currently, that seems to be just...

    Question on peat pots

Yeah, it's not long after the soil starts to dry out that your ladies will begin telling you they need water. Waiting much longer than that (especially when young seedlings and transplants) could stunt or damage your plants, and in the worst case of course they could die. I've run into both over...

^^BUMP^^ Can I get some comments on these pics? I'd like to know if things are coming along like they are supposed to or if I'm lagging behind because of the "hermi" problems I was having. Greatly appreciated.

Getting Started Small w/ CFL's...Again...But a little bigger this time.

This is my first try with my buddies camera. How'd I do? Me and tech don't usually get along lol. I'm hoping that the trich production will kick up pretty soon. Any suggestions for increasing resin would be much appreciated.

    Question on peat pots

I think you are right about the peat pot causing extra evaporation. I have been using peat pots for my actual veggies and have to water them at least once or twice a day depending on the humidity. I would totally suggest changing over to party cups or something that is non pourus, especially if...
