Could be, but I know lots and lots of people who add them and see a difference. When plants get taller and the light can not penetrate as far down as it did when the plants were shorter, the cfls at the bottom give them light, maybe not nearly as much, but it does and it makes a difference.

I beg to differ. There is quite a difference on the side I have the cfl's compared to the side I do not have the side lights. They are making enough visual difference that I am willing to keep them.

No response yet, but I was thinking some more. If the neem oil dries so fast, and there is no liquid left on the leaves, does the initial spraying get them, and they have the affect of the neem from the spray? Or is it supposed to stay moist? I am super confused, and hope I did this right
