dude stick the lil suckers in some soil with some root take on it and leave it alone till its dead. it shouldnt die if you LEAVE IT ALONE! DONT TOUCH IT! SPRAY LEAVES TWICE A DAY. KEEP SOIL MOIST. If it dosnt die in 2 weeks you have roots!
