all depends on wattage, and how many plants will be sharing ? u could get 1 250w, or a couple of 125w's, the more light the better for the plant really :)

CFLs produce a much fluffier bud, a nicer smoke, but bigger yields with stronger lights. :)

yeah, im the same, well if your like me and dont have loads to spend, have a look on ebay, all you need is a CFL cable, which is about £10 averagely and the bulb will set you back about £20-30, have a look, the price varies from the wattage of the bulb :) good luck with your grow buddy
