    1st attempt help sos

Where did you get your seed from? The plant has some odd growth patterns, but that could be caused by low light levels, which appears to be a glaring issue as well.

    Weird stuff happening

How old is your plant? The sun might be too strong for it to handle if it's still pretty young

ANYONE KNOW WHATS UP WITH MY PLANTS??

Mottled color like that is usually a pH related issue. What's your water source, and what inputs (fertilizers) have you added recently?

    Questions about exterminating

Depends on what your using and how its applied. If your bug bombing your whole house a week before harvest, that's probably not a good idea. If what your applying is a sotrebought spot or band treatment, as long as your not applying it directly on your plant, it likely wont be a major issue...

    GREEN'S PROBIOTIC METHOD

I'm sold... after reading through this thread, and looking deeper into SIPs, I'm actively working towards switching my tent over. I've got my totes ready for the build, got some dry amendments ordered, got the em1 and a myco innoculant blend on the way... I'll post pics once I get into the...

    Blue cheese advice newbie

Yea, I'd stop feeding all together. No need to flush, but no need to keep feeding with how close you are. As for when they're done, when in doubt, add a week or 2. Your best bet, is to snip a nug off, quick dry it using some kind of desiccant or other method, and test the high. You can use...

    AACT strength question

Yea, actually, now that you say it in that way, it does make some sense. Back to my abv comparison, sure you can make a brew with 18% abv, but the amount of time and sugars involved make it a much longer process. Plus, brewers yeast, and even bread yeast, is already ABUNDANT in terms of what...

    AACT strength question

Aerobic Respiration :p.. Same difference when were talking about an aerobic fermentation, thats just wrong terminology. But that is a killer link! Thank you, tons of useful info in there! Really appreciate it... yet another rabbit hole of organics to fall down into xD. I thought growing weed...

    AACT strength question

Why would water volume have any effect on my brews ability to multiply organisms? Brewing tea is simple fermentation... Same concept as brewing beer. You only use so much innoculant (yeast), and then based on the amount of food provided (sugar), the yeast is able to multiply and ferment. For...

    NEED HELP ASAP

Sure.. just make sure your soil is nice and dry. As soil drys, it shrinks/compacts which will help hold the rootball together better than wet soil will

    NEED HELP ASAP

Yep, too much water... once, MAYBE twice a week max is all you need when growing in soil. If your watering soil more than that, it's likely your over watering

Does a carbon filter affect temp much?

Yep... no need to filter your exhaust in veg, as there really isnt a smell, aside from the occasional chlorophyll smell in the air when you go in/out of your grow space.

Advice on how “cooked” these are please.

103 days from seed is a meaningless metric, as the only thing that matters, is how many days since you've changed your light schedule to 12/12. If its 103 days old, but only 45 of those days were in flower, you likely still have several weeks. From the looks of it, you do in fact need to wait...

Does a carbon filter affect temp much?

Carbon filter restricts airflow from the exhaust, so it's likely temps rise a few degrees once you ad it in. I have a potentiometer hooked up to my inline fan though, so I kept it at about 60% without a carbon filter, and then crank it up a bit once I do install it

Trying to make my own dirt

Coco is very light, and does not compact in the same way soil does, so you genuinely dont need the perlite. If you want it, that's fine, but your essentially taking moisture retention out of your media, in lieu of aeration that the medium already has. As for your response of "I'm not growing in...

White Residue - is this mildew?

If your not sure that your pH meter is working properly, dont even bother with it, and dont bother with ph down either. If you do have a pH issue, its minor. Trying to correct it could cause more harm than good, if u dont have a proper meter to know precisely what your doing. Soil in and of...

White Residue - is this mildew?

That doesnt look like powdery mildew, it moreso looks like you sprayed a nutrient solution on the leaves, that then dried and caused damage to the leaves. You do not need to mist your plants basically ever, unless your dealing with newly cut clones, or are spraying some kind of pest...

Plant health advice (after damp problem)

You need to take pictures of your whole plant, as well as individual leaves. 1 leaf doesnt tell us too much, the same way 1 page of a book doesnt. Also, when you take pictures, turn your HPS off, and use the camera flash.. it produces better quality/more visible pictures for others to identify...

    good buy?

Flip it over and take a close up of the garunteed analysis of the nutrient content. And even better is if it lists the sources of their fertilizers (different meals, rock dusts, guanos, castings, etc)
