Thanks for the response Al! I'm using sunpulse splitters which allow me to run two 600W hps off a single 1000w "has to be magnetic" ballast. I will be investing in some cool tubes come this June. I believe the newer ones have a wing type reflector available on them now.

Al, I'm growing in a crawlspace where even in the summer temps stay realitivly cool but I'm running six 600 watt hps on three 1000w ballasts with splitters. Right now my temps are around 75-80F but will warm up. I think I read somewhere you recommended cool tubes? If that could drop my temps...

That's what so frustrating!! To someone who is newer at this a lot of this stuff looks the same? So it's either nute burn of nitrogen deficiency? So if it's nute burn and I give them more nitro it'll get worse? If I just flush them some and it's nitro def. they'll get worse?

Nick. Ph 6-6.3 steady. I use a Hanna grow check. My ppm after mixing my nutes are around 1000 minus 130 for my tap water. Not sure how it could be heat because I'm using led and there is almost no heat? Light burn? I have the lights 16" away? Thanks
