    coco: pot size

I always followed the rule of 1:3 for coco:soil pot sizes, i.e. 1 gallon coco roughly equivalent to 3 gallons of soil. This is totally a rough estimate and isn't accurate for every grower by any means. My last few runs I have used fabric pots with coco and am starting to think that you can get...

    24/0 is great but...

A little petty but judging by his other posts in here, he's a big believer in the "man upstairs," and science is basically kryptonite to bible thumpers.

    24/0 is great but...

So if you go from 24/0 to a flowering light cycle the plant will flower? No shit -- what point are you trying to make here? What you said originally, and what I responded to, is that switching from 24/0 to 18/6 will cause the plant to begin flowering, which is patently untrue.

    24/0 is great but...

The burden of proof is on the person who makes the extraordinary claim. I have switched countless plants from 24/0 to 18/6 and occasionally even back to 24/0 with no ill effects. Switching between vegetative light cycles is not an issue in my experience.

    24/0 is great but...

Take your own suggestion and stop giving bad advice yourself. Going from 24/0 to 18/6 does not trigger flowering.

What differentiates a new grower to an experienced grower?

I have a simple way to tell if someone is a newbie or experienced: if they say they're an expert, they're not. If they admit they don't know a thing and still have a ton to learn despite whatever experience they may have, they would qualify as an experienced grower. Be wary of anyone who thinks...

1000w|vert|scrog|coco|KISS donut of love featuring Bodhi gear

Site went down right after that last post...here's a shot about 30 minutes later after their first and likely only FIM-job and a proper watering to runoff

1000w|vert|scrog|coco|KISS donut of love featuring Bodhi gear

Alright, back from my trip, let's get this thread back on track. The girlfriend did a pretty good job taking care of things for me, although she really does not like those damned plants at all...I'm just a lucky guy that she's willing to do it for me I suppose. They do look a little less than...

1000w|vert|scrog|coco|KISS donut of love featuring Bodhi gear

This thread kinda sucks, sorry about the lack of updates, work has been crazy and I've had a few delays finishing up the garage project. Everything's done except for the walls which are going up in a couple of hours, so I'll be moving everything back out of the cramped closet and into the tent...

    Is Pot Addictive?

    Good to hear man.

    Is this ethical?

Please show me the scientific research to support your idea that adding pureed fruit to an already dried bud is going to change its existing terpene profile. I'll wait. "it's called science bro" now I think you might be trolling me because that has to be a joke

    Is this ethical?

I actually thought you were the original poster when I responded to you previously, but that ship has sailed hasn't it? My input for this thread is that everything being discussed is asinine and new growers should be focused on actual techniques to grow better herb and not waste their time on...

    Is this ethical?

My experience was never mentioned in this thread. You're projecting. What I did bring up was the clear lack of experience of the person who started the thread.

Question on light set up in my new room

The idea of negative pressure relies on an active exhaust and passive intake. You have the active exhaust part down with the inline fan exhausting air out of the tent. The passive intake is just what it sounds, an opening that allows fresh air to enter. This can be a little confusing because...

    Is this ethical?

No, I think I understood him just fine. I've been on pot forums since Overgrow times a decade ago, I've seen plenty of kids like this who have never grown a thing in their life but get a kick out of pretending to be experts.

Question on light set up in my new room

Correct. Assuming it will handle the air exchange you need, one 6" fan and one 6" scrubber. Always go for overkill with ventilation when you can as you can always use a cheap fan speed controller to dial it down as necessary. Not overkill as in extra fans, but overkill as in the amount of air it...

Question on light set up in my new room

The most bulletproof odor control you can get is a properly installed carbon scrubber and inline fan setup to create negative pressure within the grow space, with the fan pulling from the scrubber and exhausting out with as few bends, twists, and connections as possible. Adding an additional...

lmao any pics of your plants? I'd love to see what a real grower's room looks like...far as I can tell, you've either never grown in your life or are barely out of high school...
