I do it all the time.. the rule of thumb is dump your res after youve added back the original full amount of water.

Sounds like your babys are hungry and could use a lil more nutes. Are they lighter green or darker? Up it gradually till you see little to no change in ppm's day to day (id add water + nutes)

I try to keep my ph around 5.8 but it difts upwards of 6.3 sometimes.. PPMs are around 600 on each table, its weird it seems like they leveled off during flowering.. I didnt check my ppms for a day or two and the ppms difted upwards of 700 and stuff started looking a little too dark of green...
