    Going Vertical - 4x4 Tent

I would agree that 9gal seems like a big pot for the size of those plants especially if you're only giving them a couple of days before flipping, but you know your situation best.

I'm always learning buddy, I don't claim to know it all and I think you probably would say the same. We can disagree cordially and respectfully, that's part of being an adult.

Spots on a few leaves Sweet tooth in coco

It's worth noting that I think you're really on to something with the following: ...if we're talking about soil. This is coco and it's a different ballgame entirely because of the nature of the medium. .........in my experience

Good call. That's the important thing to take away here.

Spots on a few leaves Sweet tooth in coco

I'm curious now. Have you ever alternated feeding with plain water or just fed plain water for extended periods in plain coco yourself? Like actually grown plants in plain coco and done what you are recommending? I'm wondering because I have had issues with what appeared to be nutrient lockout...

    One Light 3 Pounds!!

I've just about been fully sold on devoting at least part of my space to an organic, fully-amended mix using only plain water. I've seen some incredible results from really simple raised bed setups both . What's the benefit to no-till aside from overall convenience?

    One Light 3 Pounds!!

I agree that keeping the healthiest plant possible is the single best way to get top quality and a solid yield. I'm sure we also would probably agree that feeding "just enough" throughout the life of the plant is far more effective for its overall health and vigor than blasting them with 3.0 EC...

    One Light 3 Pounds!!

Thanks for the tips. It may be worth mentioning that I moved from horizontal growing to vertical growing years ago. It just happens that in my last run as well as my current run, out of my two tents, one is an "overflow grow" that is a horizontal scrog while the other is a straight bare bulb...

    One Light 3 Pounds!!

I've never actually had issues with mold. This probably contributes to a bit of a logical fallacy on my part -- because I have done X with the intention of preventing Y, and I have not encountered Y in my growing career, then X must do the trick. Thanks for the info, I'm always looking to learn...

    One Light 3 Pounds!!

Maybe I posted my mea culpa too soon... Not interested in arguing that particular point as you can read the thread and get the rundown on the yield. What you posted is roughly 1/3 of the total yield. Around 7 ounces from the 400w tent, which was certainly not earth-shattering. I ended up with...

    One Light 3 Pounds!!

Agree to disagree on that point, then. I speak based on my experience only. Just because I've been doing this for a long time doesn't mean I know everything or anything at all at the end of the day. I've seen your posts for some time now on icmag if you are indeed DrFever and though your posting...

Spots on a few leaves Sweet tooth in coco

I found that rule through experience when I tried alternating feeding with plain water in straight coco. That also matches up with just about every bit of conventional wisdom when it comes to coco, but then, we've argued before about conventional wisdom and coco. What is your experience?

Bad advice if he's running coco, you should feed with every watering in nearly every case.

    One Light 3 Pounds!!

Really? Because I remove fan leaves as necessary (indoors) to ensure enough air flow to keep from having a moldy mess at the end of the cycle. I don't make any other claims as to the benefits beyond simply allowing air to keep circulating. Am I "an idiot, plain n simple"? I ask because all this...

    Curing Weed For 1 Yr???

In my experience it gets harsh but arguably more intense in effect after 9-12 months. Totally uneducated guess might be that the trichs degrade further even off the plant and then the lower overall water content means the pot technically is more potent gram for gram. Past a year you really see a...
