    Someone did ask my why I’m I using the bamboo and my initial reply was to get light and air all round the plant, but I also am using the bamboo to support the branches so the plant uses it energy on the buds and not the stem and branches as it’s quire a breezy corner of my garden.

    How much more would you recommend taking off Before After I’ve taking off all the larger leaves on the plant and as many medium so far and cut back the other. Do I need to cut them right back to the stem or can I just trim the leaf as in the photo?

    I live in north Australia and we are now heading towards winter thanks as as I did read about damaging the plant if you remove to many leafs.
