Molasses for coco coir during flowering

OK thanks for the replies, makes sense I suppose. Still doesn't explain the countless forums that say it's good to use during flowering, even with coco.

Molasses for coco coir during flowering

Hi everyone, This is my first year using coco coir exclusively on my cali hash plant (outdoor, 80l grow bag). The results so far have been phenomenal and she is flowering nicely. At over 2 metres tall, she's a monster. What I've done on previous years when growing in soil is use molasses to...

    Isn't she lovely!

Hi everyone, Have to say I'm extremely pleased with my plant this year (a cali hash from Dinafem). Since deciding to go for coco coir and a an 80l grow bag, she really has flourished. She measures about 2.2 metres and is healthy as pie. Took a few pics, reckon about a month to go...

Getting too big and too tall

Thanks Johny, that's some good advice there. I never thought she'd get that big to be honest. I fim'd her at at very early stage, just after transplanting it to the sac which she's now in. The coco-coir, Spanish sun and tender love has seen her grow nice big! Do they really grow another foot...

    Second growth?

good advice gR. I'll get it into a bigger pot and see how it goes. Should I remove the old buds then or let them fall/rot away?

    Second growth?

Hey chaps, The existing buds on this plant are not looking well now that it looks like it's into its second growth phase. The brown leaves, brown buds - anyone know what this is/means? Thanks

    Second growth?

Hey MonkeyGrinder, This was planted end of February and grown only in coco coir. I was going to re-plant this into a larger pot, but it started flowering about 8 weeks ago, although looking back at the calendar, I would say even more, perhaps even 12 weeks. Rather than risk damaging the plant...

    Second growth?

Hi everyone, I have a small plant which began flowering about 8 weeks ago. It didn't get any taller, just thicker round the main stem. However, about 4 weeks ago it started growing upwards and outwards again. I didn't cut, trim, fim, anything. Now it's shooting up and out, and not sure if this...

Getting too big and too tall

Hi all, As much as I love watching my baby grow big and strong as we all do, quite simply this plant is too big now and can be seen by prying eyes which is a big concern. Short of chopping down this beauty and stripping it bare, is there any way to 'trim' it effectively so as to still...
