Some nice plants there guys!! Here my latest in my 4x4 , v1 550 , coco/perlite, all from fem seed about and 1 week since flip. 2 at the back are hso choc mint og , front left cali connection G.S.C and front right is dark ghost by rare dankness.

So far ive done their laughing Buddha, peyote cookies, blue cheese , acapulco gold, lsd and tangerine dream. The lsd and tangerine dream have been my favourites so far... but they are all really good i also really like rare dankness seeds and dutch passion seeds.

You can veg with the hps... i did it for years, with no worries at all. Imo cfls are good for rooting clones and thats about it , they will give you very spindly and weak growth compared to hps or top end led. How bigs the tent your using ? Have you got intake and exhaust fans? (Youll...

Yeah mate were just coming into spring now , but im on the west coast so we get a lot harsher winters than the eastern state's. And same here mate we get raped by our one and only energy supplier here!! Was the main reason, along side heat in the warmer months, that made me switch to leds...

Thanks dude , i really appreciate the advise and replys from you and everyone else. Yeah i went and got a heater yesterday its nice and toasty 27c out there at the moment.... im like a month or 2 away from the hot Australian weather starting, so im hoping my next few grows will be a lot easier...

I dont know enough about leds yet to chime in on that front. But i can tell you id do a hell of a lot better than those plants with a 600w hps and less grow space.... even $1100 is way over priced for that fancy paperweight of a light.

Why not just get one 600h or a cpl of the 320w xl kits , run them in your 5x5 for now then save to get another fixture for the bigger tent. I recently swapped from hps to qbs as well, ive got a few environment crinkles to iron out, but im very happy so far.

So got some lights off pics.... they look way over loaded on N?? Again doing nothing different from my previous grows... usually hitting 3lb + from the 5x5 with 2 600 hps, in fact id usually be feeding between 1.5 to 1.7ec by now. I dropped the res ec back to 0.9ec last night and also halved...

Canna pro plus dude then mix perlite in to it. Yeah mate its definitely been a learning curve going from 2400w of hps to 1390w of leds.....

I use canna pro plus, it comes pre buffered , then I add 30% coarse perlite. The bottom inch of each pot is hydroton balls as well, i find it really helps with drainage.
