What kind of soil are they planted in? Did you use fertilzer? How was the mothers shape when you made the cuts is she showing any signs of stress too? Is their proper drainage holes in those pots? Could be a number of things so maybe if you tell us a little bit more we could help you.

Don't do anything that little thing should be fine...Just make sure not to overwater, top of dirt should be a little crusty before you water.

Actually you take 3 times the amount of water the container can hold lets say 1 gallon with proper drainage holes then 3 gallons of water to flush it. I take mine to the utility sink and then continually watering until all 3 gallons are gone, with proper drainage of your plant your not drowning...
