I've heard that the best way to tell sex is to take a couple little clones off of each plant and put the clones directly into flowering, they'll probably live long enough to show sex and you'll then know the sex of their parent. I've never tried it though.

I'm buying a magnetic ballist that will do 400, 600, and 1000. I'll start with 1000 and if it is too hot I'll drop it to 600

I usually just rest the lights on the dome or right above it, never had problems with it melting it. I use 40w shop lights btw

I had plants that leaves looked the exact same, I changed from 10mL/g to 5mL/g calmag and it fixed it...

they are starting to spread all over my blueberryXnorthernlights, no webs yet. I neemed all my plants when I first got the clones as a preventative, and the growshop guy says that is why they are so slow to multiply, he also sold me a doktor doom fogger and said to foliar spray with azamax...

I think that a scrog with fluorescents in soil is somewhat similar to a DWC scrog with 1000w hps. If I have a scrogging problem I can talk to that person, if I have a heat problem I'll check out the 1000w hps forum. Either way I don't see how it would hurt to have a scrog forum

I want a scrog forum, I think every little section should get its own forum, that way the peeps that want to talk to those peeps can without other people butting in.

I'm about to try azamax in a DWC grow of mine, wish I heard better things about it, but I have it lying around so I'll give it a whirl anyhow

is it well water or municipal? I have a 3 filter one that won't work on my nasty water, but I"m sure would be fine with city.

just realized I just adopted a bunch of spider mites with my new clones !!! They seem to be slow to take over the plants right now, I'll tell you how I conquer these foes :0

this could really be a good thread, less trolling and more COMBO METERS!!!! I like my bluelab combo meter, ph by .1 and ppm by 10, it also does temp which is really nice. Calibrate ph monthly (seems to go off by .1 every month or so) ppm and temp are factory set.

all the cool tubes I've seen you can take the reflector out of, ask at your grow shop.

I'd put my money on an iron deficiency, but I don't know if it would be happening because there isn't enough iron or because the ph is off or because there is too much of a diff nute.

do you know what EC you are running? are you using tap or RO? I'm a beginner but had some leaves curling up and burning at the tips and I think it was nute burn

get a cloth tape measure or a ruler and measure everything you can think twice a day, it really passes the time :)
