I'm mixing these tablets with the water i use to spray the foliage of my plants. Is that a decent way of using those tablets to my advantage? Will the plants be making any use of them this way?

i bet there would be more possible plants that die out using that method. From what I've read and experienced it seems that seeds don't just need water to germinate, what you are doing is probably a trauma to the future plant my friend :/
