I put mine to 18/6 when they were about that size.

I put my greenhouse seeds directly in rockwool no soaking and they took 2-3 days to show.

If I remember right, one of my kalashnikova looked the same when it sprouted. It had the third cotyledone leaf too.

they will try to get you to buy an expensive pest solution. I got a 3 in 1 at wal mart for five dollars that works awesome, so like rj said don't get caught up in the hype.

Can't really help you on those mediums, I never used them. I've been good with regular potting soil and perlite when I do soil, but my Kalashnikova's are in dwc. There doing great in dwc. I also use Gh flora bloom and micro for nutes. Using the lucas formula with these nutes have worked for me...

I got them in 5 gal dwc, they got put under 400w hps about 8 days ago also put on 12/12 same day. They have stretched but the nodes are so close and it's so bushy that it's like a ball of leaves. I was going to veg them longer but I wanted to get more going in my veg area.

Yeah I got a seperate room for veg but it only has a t5's in it. I topped the one kalash, and I wish I didn't do it now. It's got a lot of nodes but there all bunched together, the one I didn't top is actually looking like it's going to stretch a lot. In the last two days it's grown a couple inches.

at 8 feet you can let them veg quite a bit longer, but it really depends on how big you want them. With that much room I would let them get another 6 to 12 inches taller then flower, but it's all up to you.

My ladyburn got nute burn when I first gave it nutes, I flushed it and it seems to be ok, but the ladyburn seems to be able to take a lot more nutes then the rest of my crop.

I got a kalash going and It doesn't want to grow to quick, but I did over nute it at first. There at about 5 weeks from seed and are really bushy but only like 7 inches tall. I did top the one though.
