it takes 2 weeks to go from seed to vegg in perfect conditions. growth doesn't really start until vegg. vegg them for at least 10 days thereafter so there are at least 4 nodes.

general rule of thumb is plants triple whatever size they are when you start 12/12. Don't underestimate growth in 12/12... my first plant was 2ft tall when 12/12 started and 7ft when it was done.:lol:

I let my first plants get 2 feet tall before I put them into 12/12. The damn things were 7 feet tall by the time they were done flowering. Rules of thumb: plants triple in size in flower and sometimes more.

If you bury it up to the first or second node the whole stem will rot and die. You would be better off burying it shallow with 1/4inch of the root ball above the top of the soil so the roots grow down

Better off using that box for a mother and clones. 3 spiral cfl's aren't going to grow much of anything. there is only about 1ft of growing space when you factor in the space those lights and bucket take up. check out grow tents

inline cooling tubes have smoother airflow thus quieter and probably a must if you're going to use an air filter
