My plants have been growing for about 5 days now and i havent got the whole watering thing down. I know the rule of thumb is to water when their dry, but i just haven't got it down yet. So a few quick questions i have are; How many oz's would you say of water you give your plants at a time...

Im starting my grow with some daylight CFL's and i was wondering if i should get bright white when i start to flower. What do you guys/gals think?

I'm starting 3 plants under cfl's and I was wondering about how many lumens I would need to grow them? Say I get 2 females and 1 male. Once I turn them to flowering and find out that one is male is it still possible to get strictly buds and not seeds with the females?

So I was reading around and I learned that for the veg stage I need lots of N and for flowering lots of P and K. But how often would I give my plants food and how much and which kind. I'm also growing in soil just fyi.

I'm so confused. So I need a light bulb that will give off 6,500k and it's blue? for the veg stage. And a bulb that gives off red light that also gives off 2,700k for the flowering time?

God!! So what do I fucking need??? Watts? Lumens? or K's?

Okay. Anybody else have anything on how many lumens I will be needing? Just for another opinion. 1/2 gram per watt??

Per plant?!?! Are you sure? Because that's a lot. I'm going to try to grow 3. So that's like 19,500 total.

Ahh so a total of 6,500 lumens? So for the veg cycle I would do 18 hours of 6,500 And for the flowering I would do 2,700 for 12 hours? Will it smell even if I put a filter to the outside?

Hmmm seems obtainable, my dad owns a construction company so I could make one. What kind of CFL's did you use? Yeah I could go up to ACE and get a few timers

It's pretty much enclosed. But... what kind of grow box would you suggest?

There's already outlets in my tree house. I'm mostly concerned about the lights. Any ideas? Nobody ever goes up there. Except my brother every once and a blue moon, and he wouldn't look in a garbage can

Hi. I'm new to growing but I haven't really started growing yet, I'm in the research and getting things phase. A friend and I want to start growing and have no other place to grow it besides my tree house. It gets worse, were pimping out a garbage can (yes, a garbage can) into a mini grow room...
