Definitely manicure before drying. You will have a helluva time getting those bud leafs out when they recede.

I think a light mover would definitely be in order for twelve plants. If done correctly, 2 lbs could be realistic. It will all depend on your system and experience. Pretty hard to predict, though. Ventilation is going to be key, you'll need good temp control (e.g. AC, heater, temp...
