attics are tough. if you got the loot hook up an AC.

Run the AC and the fan in intervals. Watch your temp to get a good idea of what your needs are and set the ac to turn on and the fan to turn off. Then the opposite.

if you had another 1 or 2 then you could veg with em. Keep it right above the plants.

Portable is a good idea as long as your neighbors arent too snoopy. You could buy some plastic and rig up a small greenhouse.?

lol. I would try it it should be cheap. also swap the bottom for flourescents and i bet that will help.

You could also build a box around your cfl's that would be covered with glass and have air inlet and outlet. Probly a stoner idea but might work.

Those cfl's are killing ya. You got quite a bit of em. Probly more heat than a 250watter. I would definatley go for the DIY cool tube or buy one. Other than that your setup is looking good. Also you need to make sure that with the door closed you are still getting the air volume exchanged...

I would swap out the bottom cfl's for florescent plant lights. CFL's build up a good amount of heat. I would also consider going to a 150 or 250 watt cool tube in top. Instead of the ac. Make sure the inlet air is coming from near the floor . Make sure the exhaust is getting out of the closet...

Update: Got a few items for the grow. Almost there. Just need a light and ventilation fan and I'll be up and running.

anything growing outdoors will do ok you might just have to help them out instead of plant and forget. If you live in a place that has colder weather you could build a nice greenhouse pretty cheaply. But no never been to ohio. gl
