its super hard. i wouldn't even try. just go to home depot, get their rooting hormone. its a powder. then get some peat pellets that come with a tray and a cover. its cheap as hell. total comes out to be like less than 15 dollars.

thanks! and i do have a dome type thing, its just a ton cheaper than the bigger domes. it came with the peat pellets. so how many cfls and what wattage? would 3 60w daylight cfls work?

get food grade diatomaceous earth. its an ALL NATURAL, no chemicals, pesticide. Its quite hard to find, so your better off ordering some in a 5 lb bag on the internet. 40 lbs is like 20-30 dollars, so 5 pounds should be no biggie
