So i can get a 150 watt hps for $80 out the door. or i can get around 240 watts of cfl(about 800watt incandescent equivelent) for a little less money. what's going to get me a better harvest on an already vegged plant.

okay so i figured out the mogoul question, if i were to do that i need a ballast, so it is not as cost efficient. so now it's a 150watt HPS for $80 or 100-200 watt of CFL for around 40$ i'm leaning towards the HPS because i assume i'll get my extra money back in bud.

About to start my second grow and i'm excited. if doesn't drop too low at night you'll be good. people have different ideas of what's right and wrong so use your own judgement. but i say if it's not going below 55(at night) or so you'll be fine. p.s. i'm in so cal too p.p.s. if you go outside be sure to be prepared for possible bugs

Growing in a soil medium. The water where I live has a ph of 7.3-8. I want to lower the ph and I bought aquarium ph adjuster. I heard vinegar or lime juice works but that it will not KEEP the ph low. Will this aquarium ph down do the trick?

I had the same question and called foxfarm to ask, they said a week.... however I use the happy frog and I've gone atleast a month like these two said and there's still beautiful growth
