    Check the ph and don't run your ppm to high. On DWC and just starting veg., the ppm should be low. Low is more in DWC, plus the water will deplete increasing all levels of nutes.     I think the V angle means they are pulling nutes up at a great rate of growth. The tips look a little crisp maybe due to hard water. The purple stems, I get all the time too. It might be a deficiency or nute lock up. Here is a nutrient deficiency chart.
