Dudes. Here is an update. I set the tent up like this: scrubber>insulated duct>light hood>insulated duct>TD100x>out I then slid the tent another inch away from the wall (it sits in a closed without a door)... and now my temps inside the tent are locked in at 77ºF! The temp of the outside room...

Word. Started testing using ONLY the TD100x pulling through the carbon scrubber and light... and have been pleased for the most part. 84ºF in the middle of the night so far. Yes, it will get warmer around here in the summer (no AC)... but never so hot as to kill the plants... and during those...

Yeah, the TD100x is 135 cfm, whereas the TD100 is 101 cfm. Ok.. here is another idea. What if I arranged the setup like this: Scrubber>td100>Light>td100x>exhaust Would the extra boost from the slightly smaller fan ensure that I am indeed getting enough CFM out of the tent? My thought...

    Dr60 grow tent ventillation help.

Sorry. It seemed like a logical place to ask it due to the common fan model. My bad.

I just got a 2x3x5 grow tent, and have both a td100x and a td100. I was thinking about this TD100x filter>hood>fan>out TD100 active intake fan low on the tent. Do you think this would work?

NEWBIES NEED HELP? smokinHerbOnDaCurb has all ansers!!!!!

Yo Smokin'Herb, Great thread! I have been enjoying this one every time it is updated. Question: I have a 4 light t5 reflector that measures 22x11. I wanted to place it in a tiny cabinet to keep my mother/clones for my very small-scale personal grow-op. How much ventilation do I need...

    STORE BOUGHT SYSTEM Reviews

Here is an update on the venting situation. I replaced the scrubber-attached axial fan with a Soler & Palau TD-100x, and my temps dropped 10 degrees. I am really impressed at how quiet this fan is. I have now ordered the slightly smaller TD-100 to replace the axial lighting fan. I am hoping...

    STORE BOUGHT SYSTEM Reviews

Word. I am thinking of trying the TD-100 on its own and using one of the current axial fans I have to cool the lights. That means 107 cfm over the lights and 135 cfm for the scrubber/exhaust. If that doesn't work... I quit.

really? 4x2x2=16 cubic feet 16*5=80 cfm So, according to the math, I would need 80 cfm to recycle the air 5 times per minute. Is the standard formula bunk? Is it because of the small size of the cab?

    STORE BOUGHT SYSTEM Reviews

I know... and to think that I will pretty much have paid that much for a cabinet with nice machine work and the lighting system. Everything else will have been replaced soon. I am replacing the two fans with one S&P TD100x.

That totally helps! I really wish that my wife would "allow" me that much space to my favorite hobby! I am jealous. Thanks for clearing that up about your fan situation. My reading comprehension engine was apparently on the fritz. What do you think of that S&P fan? Do you have a speed...

First off, great cab! So, you would say that your S&P TD100x isn't enough to cool both your room and your lights? Did you try setting it up like this? filter>lights>fan>exhaust I am just curious, as I just ordered a TD100x for my 4x4x2 cabinet... and wanted that one fan to be the exhaust for...

Heat issues in my 400w cab! Defies logic.

I would love to go the 6" route, but all of my current setup uses 4" fittings. The hood, the insulated venting, and the metal cabinet. I think that sort of limits me to the 4" fans.
