i dont understand how you can say there is no heat generated by a 400 watt hps...i had one in a closet years ago and that closet got smoking hot

ok i got an area 2x3 i currently use to grow 4 small plants with cfls. I have have be reluctant to use a 400 watt hps because of the heat issues But now i believe that a 250 watt hps would be adequate for my size room. Then my question is will the 250 watt pose the same heat issues as a 400 watt...

I know that 250 watts of hps and 250 watts of cfl is not the same but my question is a to be knowledge a 250 watt hps is apox 27000 lumens. so would 27000 lumens of cfl light be the same as 27000 lumens from a hps light.

just purchased boost buddy in a bag. i figured i would give it a shot. But i cant figure out how it works. i know there is a opening above the label but there is nothing there to tear it off unless its always been open ??? could i just open the top of the bag ???

i am on my 2nd cfl grow and decided to do a little research to find the best bulbs. In my research i found reports of cfls bulbs catching fire. That kind of scares me a bit cause im using 16 cfl bulbs. i didnt want to use hps cause of the heat issues and height of my space but now i dont want...

i totally agree with what you are saying. i grow 20 plus years ago and it was all about the hairs then now everyone is saying its about the trichomes. I like things better when its simpler

I have 5 small northern light plants growing at 49 days of flowering. i decided to pick out the smallest one and harvest today even know im thinking i might be about a week early. what do you guys think on this bud ? Did i pick too early ???

I got northern lights at 7 weeks of flowering. Hairs are about 50/50 brown and white. I looked at the resin glands with a jewelers loop and most still seem clear. some of the resin glands on the tips on some leaves are turning alittle dark. Im at 11 hours of light now and looking to pick them...

first should i flush with water for a few days before harvest ??? second should i leave the plant in total darkness for 48 hours before harvest ??? i like to keep things simple and these are simple things to do but are they beneificial ??? Back in the old days i used to hear that you...

i got a small grow of northern lights. They are just about at week 6 flowering. most of the plants are about 10 to 20 percent brown hairs but one plant is alomost at 50 percent. Just curious if this is normal and i should except to harvest my plants at different times ??? Thanks

im running 6 large 68 watt 2700k cfls plus 4-23 watts cfls with 1/2 2700k and 1/2 5500k. and i do keep them a couple inches from the plants
