Ok, so it looks like a 125 watt CFL runs for about $50. I'll probably need 5.....that's not too cheap. Is there any difference in spectrum I should be getting? warm? soft?

Thanks dos. Do you think a SOG method suit me better? How many watts do you think will be needed during flowering from the LED's? in combination with the CFLs? What wattage per CFL here? Thanks again

So if I don't use the HPS, I was planning on mounting CFL's on a movable structure and have 2 fluros on each side of the box vertically. The question is...say I have 4-5 females in there...how much wattage would be needed? CFL's say like 26watts = 100 watts on the box. Thanks for your help

Gotcha. I'm planning on growing 4 or 5 Lowryder #2/ AK-47 hybrids in my closet. I'm torn between a 250 watt HPS or CFL's. The box is only 1.5x1.5x4 though....

Does anyone know a good ratio for CFL's based on wattage to plant (lowryder#2)?I'm doing a similar setup but am trying 4 -5 at once. I was thinking 4X40w fluros...2 on each side. Then hanging from a suspension device...a couple CFL's...probably 6 45W. What do you think?
