High Grading Marijuana to increase selling price?

Oddly, that's true of coffee and tea also. I read one place that the caffeine molecules are slightly rotated between varieties.

High Grading Marijuana to increase selling price?

Where you at? Sure would be nice to have someone test if my seeds seem like S2s. One time I sent a grow light to someone so he could evaluate it for me, and because it was in the grow room with all the seeds, a whole bunch of them must have fell in there accidentally, along with some dry...

High Grading Marijuana to increase selling price?

Good to hear. I just made 500 or so Northern Lights Auto seeds (S1+S1 = S2 I guess???). Maybe I'll grow them for pot instead of seeds now. I'd switched to growing only Amnesia Haze because of how sugary it looks. Anything I can grow that'll yield 1 pound, and have > 20% (ok, I'm asking for...

High Grading Marijuana to increase selling price?

I was just reading that on the net, like 15 minutes ago! It was an article saying some stoners prefer lower grades of marijuana. I found it when I tried to find the answer about high grading. I'll have to try that out tonight. I've been smoking the "best" the dispensary has, and it's still...

High Grading Marijuana to increase selling price?

I couldn't find this on the search first pages, but it must be a common question. Marijuana is legal in CA now, so I went to a dispensary and asked what was the highest percentage they had of trichomes. 38%!!!! I'm lucky to grow 20% I looked at it, and it was indeed super crowded with...

No fuzz colloidal silver for making seeds

Next batch that finishes I'm going to dilute in half, to see if the TDS is half. Then I'll dilute that in half, etc. So we can get an honest idea of what the TDS means for colloidal silver. Right now I can say, a TDS of 4 makes usable colloidal because the laser is clearly visible in office...

No fuzz colloidal silver for making seeds

Here's more measured results for using a Mr. Coffee heater ($5) under a 150mL beaker with 2 coils of silver wire and 24VAC. It started from pure distilled water with no addition of older colloidal. It ran until a very nice yellow color. TDS measurements are at room temp. They tend to read 3-4...

    A Guide To Colloidal Silver

AC probably wouldn't work for you then, you make so much of it. My little AC generator is fairly fast for my needs, but it takes about 12 hours for 150ml. 1 liter would take 80 hours, as opposed to your 6 hours. I hope there's no underwater soldering in that electrical circuit. That means...

    A Guide To Colloidal Silver

Thank you! I have the first results for how much silver is used. None. I put my 24VAC electrodes in yesterday weighing 13.52/13.51 grams. I had Mr. Coffee heater pad under a beaker of 150ml of distilled water. Today you can easily see the laser in room lighting. And the electrode weighs...

    A Guide To Colloidal Silver

I just saw this after going back. Yea, I have a great kit! I've tested it in many grows. Nothing to do but add water. It's pushing the limits of hot soil, in order to stunt the plant so it can grow under a single 18W led bulb. But the main thing is, I can easily provide clone seeds for...

    A Guide To Colloidal Silver

Where was that link? I'd certainly like to read anything more precise on the subject. Anything except for medical claims that is. Now it's showing up as a weight loss treatment...

    A Guide To Colloidal Silver

I guess you could weigh a little clean beaker, fill it with colloidal and evaporate it, then re-weigh it. Just for fun, I'll try that next batch of very yellow I make. However, if you have a method for making colloidal silver which doesn't produce fuzz or electroplate crystals (in other words...

    A Guide To Colloidal Silver

You can see the laser in normal room lighting at 14ppm. 30ppm is likely up into yellow color territory. Maybe I'll calibrate the ppm. I've got a 24VAC with heater setup which has absolutely no fuzz or crystal losses so I can weigh the wires and figure out how much actually went into...

    A Guide To Colloidal Silver

Some encouragement for the new seed makers: I've got one amnesia haze autoflower I sprayed at the start of this month, with 2 of her buddies snuggled up to her. All 3 seeds are prime genetics for which I paid $10 a seed. There's SO MANY seeds on them, I have to prop them up with stakes...

No fuzz colloidal silver for making seeds

Well, a WARNING!!!! Turns out, without the Mr. Coffee filter heater pad, it could take 2 or more weeks using the 24VAC. I guess the previous times I tried it, there was still a little of the old colloidal in the water. I've heard of people leaving colloidal to speed things up, but in the case...

No fuzz colloidal silver for making seeds

So I still have a little paranoia. Let's say you see bananas forming, but you're using 24/7 lighting on an autoflower. Is it possible to reverse the conversion so that you don't get enough pollen to pollinate a reasonable portion of that or another plant? I have noticed the 24/7 keeps new...

No fuzz colloidal silver for making seeds

Do you keep spraying until you see pods, or you trust to stop after 2 weeks?

No fuzz colloidal silver for making seeds

That plant above is an amnesia haze, which is an autoflower with a very nice trichome count. Almost as nice as the best medical marijuana. But the yield is low (15-25 grams). So if you're making kief, another autoflower might be better.

No fuzz colloidal silver for making seeds

Ok, it's official (with me at least). Making colloidal using DC is far more work than necessary. I've tested all voltages from 0.5V to 30V. It's faster, but a lot of work. And very wasteful. Unless you like wiping fuzz from your electrodes (@ > 3V), or losing crystals due to electroplate...
