    CO2 or Hydroponics?!

CO2 is the last thing that should be added to a grow op, after everything else is dialed in and perfected as best at it can be. So what I am saying is, there is a learning curve, if you are planning on switching to hydro in the future just do it now and add CO2 after you have it figured out.

This is my first Hydro Setup after growing in soil for 32 crops

Yeah I mentioned it in this post you can get a complete setup(regulator, timer, & etc.) without the tank for around $150 and a filled bottle for about $90. Then its $15-$20 bucks for refills, a room your size will need a couple every grow.

For those of you with the space and are really interested in doing UVB right then this is the best way to go. I have spent alot of time looking around the internet reading and looking for sources of effective lights and this is by far the best I have found. It is a web site that sells high power...

    10.0 Uvb Light

The problem with those lights are that they are a "spot" type light, the effective area is only about 6" wide.

Octagon calculator for growers thinking about building a stadium.

I have been looking into building a stadium system and came across this calculator for figuring measurements of an octagon and thought it might help someone else out. My thoughts are building two halfs of an octagon that are connected by a hinge so it can be opened up for easy access or maybe...

    Sensi Star growing

One usually cannot be 100 percent correct even if looking right at them much less pics online. My guess for the yellowing with brown spots is a cal mag defeciency. I use General Hydroponics Flora nutes and when the ladies started flowering the same thing happened to me, a little cal mag added to...

Hunting is a connection to the earth and our past, true some do it for the wrong reasons but unless a person is a strict vegetarian, then they do not have a good arguement against it. By this I mean from at least the animals point of view which is a better life, living free and wild or in a pen...

This is my first Hydro Setup after growing in soil for 32 crops

Looks nice man! It has to be nice having a large grow space. It has been a few days, but from the older pis of your trellis, you could train alot of you taller tops down under it to get a much more even canopy. I just started using CO2 in bottle form, it was $150 for regulator kit, tubing...

Grow Closet questions- soil, closet space, light blockage

You will have to duct through the plastic into your room. I would use a small inline fan hung up high(hottest air will be at the top) in the closet hooked up to a couple feet of flexi duct if you put a 90 degree bend it will stop most light. On the floor I would put another piece with a curve in...

Grow Closet questions- soil, closet space, light blockage

Depends on if it you are able to cut some holes inside the closet into an attic or other space or some time you can tap into existing duct work. Without ventilation though heat will be an issue and that is probably the number one cause of poor results.

Grow Closet questions- soil, closet space, light blockage

For you first question the cheapest easiest way would be to staple black plastic completely over the door opening from the inside and seal it with tape then just put one of those stick on zippers in it. The Miracle Grow will work fine and I wouldn't even worry to much about switching mid grow. I...

I have a flood light question..

You have to find the bulbs with low kelvin ratings 5000 or lower for flowering. I use a compact flourescent flood light I bought from Home Depot for cloning, it is 100w 6500k so it wouldnt work to good for flowering. Look for "warm" bulbs or better yet use HPS.
