when growing outdoors the plant isnt as potent ,the light are bad ,and it needs to be given so much of the right liquid fertilizer that it starts to grow abnormally "and i mean abnormal like a mutant" outside the water runs threw the dirt and it needs to somewhat be flooded

well if ur smart you'll buy exspensive lights to keep ur plant a veggie till its almost 5-6 ft and then flower it, in the flowering stage if it does turn up to be male u dont have to throw it out, Secret Number One, it wont pollinate ur females if u dont let the green pods burst open, so cut...

ive grown hundreds of females and i like growing the males better it tried experimenting with alot of shit but it is better to know how to grow ur male =/ unless u slack
