I think you’d have the same issue with a 6.5w diode 6 inches really isn’t much distance for the light to spread out. It’s why I have decided to scrap my 400 cob unit I built and switch to strip lights to make better use of my space with lights very close to the canopy. Hopefully over next year...

If you dim them you’d need more of them per sqm to get the coverage and at that price it would bankrupt most people
