    plant height

Brentman, those are some gorgeous girls there. You'll have to show us what they look like in a couple of months when they're all loaded up. I'm in Ontario....got some bagseed (sativa) and Summertime Buddha from the toronto 420 seedbank. They were started indoors and topped, and they're...

    The Shack's Outdoor Baby

I'm thinking you're on the right track. That rich fertile pile of compost should see you through veg, then you can give them some help with flowering. Since you're going all organic your soil you might want to stick with an organic flowering fertilizer. Maybe some bone meal or bat guano if...

    The Shack's Outdoor Baby

It woudn't hurt to add perlite or vermiculte but I think they'd be fine without it. Depending on the size of the compost pile you'd need a shitload of additives for them to make much of a difference. What are you using for nutes?

    The Shack's Outdoor Baby

I've never planted in a compost pile before but I think it's a great idea. A nice pile of rich organic compost with built in protection from pests....as long as it gets a good amount of sun then it sounds perfect. Good luck!

    Ontario growers!!!

I was wondering the same thing...I'm in southern ontario (kitchener) and got some summertime buddah and bagseed going outside. Some of the bagseed started to flower in early July (so far all girls!), but the summertime buddah and some bagseed still haven't started their flowering. It seems odd...

SW Ont Q on when to plant

Hey man, I live in SW Ontario as well (Kitchener area). You should put them out when you know there won't be another frost. May 24 is usually safe, but you can wait till later if you're not sure. It don't matter if they're 1 inch tall or one foot tall, as long as there aren't any frosts...
