2010 outdoor grow contest only the strong may enter!!!!

Yeah I gotta start my prep work next month. I'll start my seeds in the first week of May and have them out by June 1st. I'll definitely have some photos of the crop (of course they won't all be in 1 place, we have police helicopter issues here in the late summer and fall) but I'll get pics of...

2010 outdoor grow contest only the strong may enter!!!!

~300 autoflower (my own crosses), 100+ purchased seeds (Green House Seeds, KC Brains, Nirvana, etc. etc. nice variety) all going out 6/2010 guerilla style, not safe here until late May / early June because of frost so I'll be WAY behind the folks in warmer climates, but I'm in.

V shaped leafs and slow growth?

That is incredibly slow! I would suggest keeping the plant since it's healthy but where did you get the seed for this one?

First Time "Big grow" failures or success?

Sounds like a damn big operation and with all that money invested I would definitely suggest they find a trustworthy hand with this project. Anybody can pull off a plant or two in a closet but something that size is going to take proper management. 10 1kw lamps? Make sure they're careful not to...

    sup guys easyryder help please

Well I like to keep my projects under wraps until I know the what the results will be. Some of my seeds will be sold so the genetics are proprietary secrets. My focus right now is on autoflowering hybrids as they've come so far from where they first were (we all remember the mediocre smoke of...

    question for the scroggers?

That's REALLY a situation specific question and a "general" answer might not be a very good one... but, when you have an idea of how big these plants will be by the time they finish (because you don't want too much unsupported weight above the screen) you can set your screen up and start...

    sup guys easyryder help please

Looks like just a little bit of nitrogen deficiency. How far are you from finishing this plant and what kind, if any, nutes are you feeding it? Low nitrogen in the lower leaves is normal during the late stages of flowering and it's actually not a problem as too much N will stunt the flowering...

    Ona products. Do they work?

The most important thing about Ona products is to keep them away from your plants and grow room. The smell can transfer to your buds during the flowering stage and ruin the taste. Placing one by entrance doors to your apartment as a cover-up to the smell would not be a bad idea though. Cheers Joe

DANG MANG!!! + rep for help. CFL grow over 2.5 oz last min curing questions

As far as I know, light will always be bad for THC. Best to keep your stash, even after drying, in a dark place as much as possible and a bit on the cooler side is better too say... not more than 20 C but 15 C - 18 C is best if I recall. As for curing, I usually take between 1-2 weeks depending...

    my plant died =(

To the best of my knowledge, there is no way to keep an autoflowering plant alive beyond it's normal lifespan. This is an interesting question though and I will look into it. There may be a way but if so it's probably something chemical that has to be done to the plant and I'm an organic...

    question for the scroggers?

The general guideline is 1 clone per square foot but sometimes you can do a little more as long as air flow and such is good. The height of the screen varies depending on the strain and how tall you expect it to get but, again, generally 12-16 inches above the tops of the rooted clones. Best of...

    What are T5's

T simply means tubular, the shape of the bulb. The number following that denotes the diameter of the bulb in 1/8ths of an inch. You can buy these bulbs and fixtures just about anywhere, check your local hardware store. As for efficiency in regards to growing plants, the best you can get in my...

Hps vs mh for flower...yield difference?

I can't say for certain, but I would estimate that your yields could be cut by as much as 50% depending on the strain but I think 30% on average is a more reasonable guess. MH are the wrong color spectrum and the plant will not use this light as effectively during the flowering stage. I know a...

    my plant died =(

Tough luck with that plant man. She looked really nice. I would definitely say that this was because of over-watering. The plant looks drowned for sure and the roots probably are rotten. In the future it would be a good idea to drill holes in your containers and have a drip tray to catch excess...

    Yellowing papery leaves for newbie

Check for bugs. I had this same problem last year, identical looking damage. I never did determine the cause for sure but I'm certain it was insect related. Check your plant all over for ANY signs of insects and kill anything you find. Let us know what you come up with for more specific advice...

    plant problem,HELP!!!

The plant in pic #6 is showing signs of a possible zinc deficiency. The rest seem to show early nutrient burn. When in doubt, flush with nutrient-free water. I would probably suggest not using that nutrient mixture again or at least diluting it a bit more and don't over water them. Try a flush...

    What can I do?

Whoa! 2 inches tall and you have them under a 400W lamp already? Switch to fluorescent light for a bit and they should turn right around. I made the same mistake once myself a long time ago and that's what fixed it for me. Also, hold back on the nutes until they get a bit bigger as the potting...

oh shiiite what did i do to mommy

Watering twice a day in soil? Less water is probably the solution here as too much water will just stress the plant out. If that picture is recent that little plant isn't going to take in much water in the run of a day, especially with a CFL grow as there's no heat to contend with. As for...
