Grow rooms up and running wiring my cool tube to my enclosed ballast was cake and works perfectly After buying fans, ac, homeade tent, diy bubble setup my grow room is up to my standards. Finally temps are at 79-80 with lamp on.

Anything over 90 will stress your plants a lot. You will have slow growth, poor yields, less than desired quality. You need circulation and probably a/c, if your ambient room temps are over 80. I'd say look to lower your grow room temperature to at least 85 for better more uniform growth. -Kb_

In my opinion if leaves are not getting any light and are starting to dry and turn brown ill cut it off i have never noticed any stress or decrease in growth don't go crazy though. If a leaf is healthy green and getting light it is more surface area for it to absorb light and create energy

get atleast 4 26 watt cfl's 12 hours on 12 hours off

idk how cold it really gets by you but you dont want it to get get under like 60 in the box and try not to go over 85 the problem with your setup is its outside it has the uncontrollable variables of an outside grow but its in a box so you have slightly more control it would probably be better...

got the ac temps are topping out at 82 in the tent and the cool tube is within 20 inches of top of plants im going to try and get it a little closer but for now its straight

Im no expert i but i think the cooler the air passing the bulb the cooler the air coming out on the other side will be so if i'm cooling my light with 80 degree air say its coming out 85 thats heating my room even more making for less efficient cooling the cooler the ambient air temp the cooler...
