edit: (forgot Day 20) Day 20 - Topped one of the plants from the first set of 3. Leaves torn on the larger plant so I plan to top that after the next set of leaves begins to grow. The retarded plan was all but dead so I threw it away. Received 10 seeds of an excellent strain and planted them...

Day 14 - The retarded one from day 6 seems as though the top is wilting and very light green in color while the bottom leaves are drying out and getting dark spotting.

Day 12 - Largest of the 3 seedlings out of 5 seeds planted is transplanted into a larger pot. The tips of one of the other two were burned by light and the other seems as tho its growth is stunted.

Day 6 - Green poking through the soil of one of the seeds planted. One of the first three plants beginning to look developmentally disabled (looks really retarded).

Day 5 - Leaves of three plants in water solution have swelled in size. Moved them to several larger pots. Moved the plants from under a single CFL to a set of 4-foot Fluorescents. Planted about 5 more seeds.

First Real Grow - Grower Of Buds Day 1 - While trimming and watering houseplants i come across three seedlings growing out of the dirt reaching for the light (about 2 inches from ground to seed meat). I then moved the plants to a glass of water with my homemade SuperNitrate organic solution.

Anyone else in the forum have to deal with the famous Western NY winter weather? It's finally starting to warm up, but my yard still has 3-4ft snow drifts winding thru it. What kind of climate is everyone else in? :joint:

Smoking leaves won't kill you. Might make your lungs turn pretty nasty but it sure as hell aint going to kill you. I know a guy thats been smoking leaf blunts for years like most people smoke cigarettes. The headache from smoking leaf is quite shitty tho, I must admit.

Usually smoke anywhere from about an 1/8 to a full oz a day depending on my mood, who i'm around, and where i'm at. The usual day at home I can get by on a nice spliff in the mornin followed by various gravity bong hits throughout the day, followed by a joint when the girlfriend gets home, go...

that does seem as if your plants are stretching. mine have been growing since about feb 1st and they are on the fourth set of leaves and still only 6 inches tall at most. how many sets of leaves have you got on your plant? any pics?

I've been through hours of information online and found several decent small scale grow boxes. Anyone else have any websites, diagrams and/or instructions on how to build and maintain a low-cost, small scale (20-25 plants) grow box?

not to be rude mogie but not everyone has access to Fox Farm brand products ... and i prefer not to receive any products through mail order (just my own personal preference) if you are planning a large grow (i.e. over 10 plants for instance) i use my own soil mix but if you do choose to buy...

that purple haze bud is gorgeous hippy! the food coloring does sound like a pretty crazy idea however i would add the food coloring to the water you are giving your plants ... i don't think you would want to do it after harvest ... wouldn't it be too much moisture for the bud i would think it...
