So im starting my first grow soon, have the drip system in my closet but now its come down to a matter of what kind of lights should i get... im planning on using a hps for flowering, but as far as vegging i dunno if i should go fluorescent or something else... i came across this today...

i dont wanna start a new thread, so hopefully you can answer this for me as well i have one of those basic drip hydroponics systems and im going to use clay obviously, but i know you cant sprout a seed or further grow a clone in that, so what how should i go about doing that then transfering it...

im searching for a light for my soon to be grow closet, but before i buy i need to figure out how to power it and if i need electric work done or if theres someway i can just plus it into the wall.... or is that what the ballast is for?.. kinda new to this.. any helps appreciated, thanks!!

How long do i need to keep the water pump on, or how many times per day and for how long? can i just keep a constant flow? I also would appreciate a good link to a good water timer
