u want the temps at or around 76F for optimal growth throughout plant life for optimal growth, when the lights are on. U want a good 10degree drop in temps at 'night'

I got a similair setup as u, witha 400w, and an ac keepin everything cool. My humidity rarely went above 30% even with a humidifyer. Anyhoo, all I've found is that the plantwill dry out much faster. U always hear to water like every three days right? Well for mine its usally every one or two...

No shit there. i'm runnin the 400w, puts out aroud 50,000 lumens. Not sure cuz i've never had the pleasure of having one, but I'd imagine the 1,000 watter would put out wel over 100,000 lumens! Nothin quite like some hps love.... or a lot :mrgreen:

My setups in a closet a lil smaller than that, or close to the same overall size(7x4x3). Im runnin a 400w hps alone with two fans, one's blowin right on the hood where the ballast is located. I even had to buy an ac to keep it cool in there. If u got all ur suplies, lights and such, I'd suggest...

Me and my buddy had a friendly competition, growing one plant each in my closet. Long story short, he went apeshit withthe scissors on his plant and his is like half the size of mine, So I put his on a bucket to even everything out. Its workin well.bongsmilie

wrong ballast? that sucks. U should get u a hps ballast as well, then u could use the mh for veg where its most desireable, then for flower switch the ballast and the bulb and ur in there

I've never used the bakin soda, just the 'up' and 'down' shiz so idk abot that. Good thinkin plannin ahead though, don't wanna find out after its too late u done fucked up ya know.
