Hard to tell from that pic, but looks like a male. U got the right idea about where the nodes are. From ur description, it sounds like the plant may have went hermi on ya. U said it had a few white hairs, but i don't see any in the pic.

Like sweet tooth said, if the clone was taken from a female, then it will be a female, less hermination has occured. Ur lookin for white hairs at the nodes, this means its a girl.

Those are not pre flowers. I believe they are actually called stamens, every plant has em. If u just switched to 12/12, u should know within a week, maybe sooner, or later of corse. But generally they show after a week of 12/12. Plants will show sex without the 12/12 lighting, but usually not...

Put some beans in the paper towell dec. 1. Took them till the 6th for one out of the two to sprout a taproot. It is now day 15 from seed, and I barely have the 2nd set of fan leaves showin up. Temps, and all that are good, just wonderin if anyone's ever had this happen. :peace:
