hello, I'm new to hydro systems and was wondering: how do you check your nutrients mixture in your reservoir and how often do you need to add more nutrients/flush in a DWC bubbler system?

oh VERY nice! i'm loving this setup. I just have a couple questions. do you run the pump 24/7 or hook it into a timer? and do you have to worry about the roots reaching the water or is it okay if this happens?

ok so im leaning toward a top feed hydro drip system. I'm just a little confused about the air stone, is it essential and wtf is it used for? I've heard you need it to pump air into the reservoir with the nutrients and i've also heard of using it as a grow medium.
