I'm looking to grow 10 plants. Planning on an ebb flow system using a 5 gal controller bucket, and 2 gal plant buckets. What would be the best light setup? I was thinking 2 600w HPS, or would one 1000w cover this? Either way, the lights would need vented through the tube, right? Thanks.

I guess I should have clarified on the venting. I don't need the air from the veg room, I just want to vent it out using the same ducting as the flower room. I don't want to have to buy two inline fans. As for the light. I think i'll end up with a 8x5.5 area. I want to have around 8 to 10...

Oh..and who makes a good HPS light...maybe even a model number? thanks!

Golden..those look great! Can't wait til i'm at that point. Did a little more reading. I plan on doing a ebb and flow hydro system using 2 gal buckets. I think I may go with a single 1000w hps light for the flower room. I don't plan on using all that space, I need a little room to work too...

I have a 8x8 room that is 6' tall. I'd like to grow around 8 to 10 plants. What size of lights should I use? I was thinking either 1000w light, or should I go with two smaller lights. I plan on using an ebb flow system as well. Thanks!
