    Ph Crashing Overnight

I’m not sure on the model number but if you just type in ice probe chiller on google, it’s one like those. It’s made for aquariums but works great on keeping my bucket cool.

    Ph Crashing Overnight

I mean my airlines are slightly slimy but nothing thick or nasty. Just a slick feeling you know ?

    Ph Crashing Overnight

Also, no algae or anything that I can see. The only possible light leak is from the blue water level tube on the side of the bucket.

    Ph Crashing Overnight

Here is a picture of the roots that I just took. They look brown but no slime or anything. I think the brown is just from the GH micro. I don’t use any kind of sterilizer. I have a Ice probe chiller on a thermostat and it keeps the water temps between 65-67F.

    Ph Crashing Overnight

This is what my leaves are looking like btw. Looks like nute burn right? Leaves are darker green and tips are droopy. Another thing I just thought of and I’m not sure if it can be related but I was using a mars hydro reflector 480W and I noticed the bloom switch wasn’t working and that all my...

    Ph Crashing Overnight

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking. I never have issues with this until later in the grow. My next grow I’ll use a big rubber made bin and see if that helps.

    Ph Crashing Overnight

I’ve tried it both ways to see if it helps. I added some real low strength nutes last night and the ph went from 4.4 to 5.7 and the ec Dropped from high .8’s to low .8’s I’m not sure exactly how much they are drinking because I don’t measure it but it does go down 1/2”-1” on the the bucket every...

    Ph Crashing Overnight

Hey all. I’m needing some help here. I’m growing in a 5 gallon bucket with two air stones in the bottom. I’m having a issue with my ph wanting to crash after about 4-5 days after a res change. The first few days the ph will slowly rise while the EC drops and then around day 4 or so the ph will...

    Calcium deficiency with well water?

It’s not being treated. It passes a media filter after coming out of the well but that’s it. It has a ph of around 6.1-6.2.

    Calcium deficiency with well water?

I’ve been doing 1/2 TSP per gallon. Should I step it up to say 1 TSP per gallon? I keep having issues with my Ph crashing . It’ll be fine for a day or two and then randomly drop.

    Calcium deficiency with well water?

Here is another picture. It looks like a bunch of tiny pin dots. Some yellow and some brown and mostly on the leaves closest to the lights. I did not see any bugs under the leaves. It’s getting worse.

    Calcium deficiency with well water?

It definitely has some nute burn. The GH trio recommended schedule is way to strong for this plants stage of growth. I believe the plant is about a week and a half out based on trichomes. Ppm has been rising every day and the PH has been tanking so what I’ve been doing is draining about a half...

    Calcium deficiency with well water?

Doing my first DWC grow and I have what I believe is a calcium deficiency. Just looking for some other opinions to verify what I believe I’m seeing. If I remember correctly it started showing up in the early flowing stage and has progressively gotten worse. At first I thought it was rust fungus...

    Is that a no no?

    Trichomes not turning amber.

Unfortunately I have my first DWC going on in the same space so that’s not possible. I’ll start with plain water today and start harvesting the top buds weekend, thanks. Here’s a current bud picture.....

    Trichomes not turning amber.

Yeah, they definitely keep growing more white pistols. I’ve actually been wanting to harvest the bigger top buds first while letting the lower buds grow some more. How do you go about timing the flush when doing that method?
