My guess would be about 9 months from start to finish if you want a clone to yield a pound. However, weather, location, nutrient line, pH, temperature, humidity, and attention to detail can save you a couple extra months if you are on top of your game.

My biggest suggestion would be adding cooling the basement down while bringing down humidity. The dehumidifiers heat needs to be compensated so the freshly dehumidified air is quickly vented out the room. If you use a seal room setup with AC and dehumidifier, I bet you can get your relative...

I just lock my plants up at night. I sleep by them so anyone trying to enter my garden would have to commit a 2nd degree felony. However, door barricades can also buy you valuable time if it comes down to them or you.

I keep my plants in a 80+ degree environment at night. However, they are sleeping in a pitch dark environment. One of my videos on YouTube is about the room I use. Just search "solar flowered basics of the insides" and it gives you a scoop on how I let my girls sleep.

Water of pH 8+ is definitely too high for nutrient uptake. I would suggest bringing it down to around 6.0 for soil with a basic 3 part nutrient feeding program. If you are short on dough for a pH pen.. you can always use drops as a nice substitute. Same yellow as corona beer is about the...
