Just wanted to add to my first post that the ph has drifted upward perfectly from about 5.2 last night to 6 this afternoon. So that part's going well, if nothing else!

I am using RO water. I was using hard well water previously. The well is on my own property in the country. The RO water is from a filtration system that I purchased a few years ago. It is a very high-end RO system that I use for drinking water.

When you refer to aero units, do you mean aerogarden type setups? I have one that I grow lettuce in but I've wondered how it would work for seedlings/clones.

In rockwool? I thought rockwool had zero nutrients and so it all had to be provided. And they don't have any deficiencies? Have you done this with autos? They have such a short life cycle!

Ok. so when you say .5 or .6 is that equivalent to 500-600 on the reader? Sorry for such basic questions.. I've only had the meter a week and am still learning. Ok on the ph. I'll add more RO and see how that affects the ph and take it from there! Thank you!
