ok so i have officially added another shelf/level to the closet halfway up. i now have 2 plants on the top, and 2 on the bottom. it looks alot better, and less crowded. and even though i divided the lights up to the 2 seperate levels it really looks like the plants are actually getting more...

any agreements/disagreements with this? ive got the plants divided into 2 levels now too..so less trimming will be required. put another shelf halfway up the closet so 2 are on the top and 2 are on the bottom. it seems to be working better

thaanks bro i am using 42 Watt CFL's..a mix of Phillips and Sylvania brand. The Phillips ones are best I think..they put out 2600 lumens each. ive got 9 of them in there now..you can get them in natural daylight (6500K, blue spectrum) or normal (2300ish K, red spectrum) they do the trick :leaf:

typhoon..huh? yeah i have a fan which i blow on them at diff levels for a good amount each day. and the lights are as close as they can be without burning the plants.. and as for their height..i cant help but keep them short haha.. these guys just have short, fat genetics :peace:

i only have one closet to grow in..so its either 1 plant or add another shelf and try to pull of 2 plants..one on top of the other intuition: thanks guy! haha. yeah theyre chuuuuubbby

do you think i should add another shelf to the closet and grow 2 females? or just stick to one. itd be some serious work to add another level to the closet and move all the lights around..plus id have to buy alot more lights cuz id have 2 seperate grows..literally on top of each other. think...

yeah well i wasnt trimming entire leaves. i was cutting pieces off of certain leaves because they were pressing up against the wall of the closet and no light wouldve got to that part of the leaf anyways i doubt it would cause that much shock to the plant. i bet cutting entire leaves off causes...

dwr..put ur glasses on theyre 7 gallons. they can handle the root system of any big marijuana plant. and they cost like 10 bucks each. couldnt find square ones but circular is baarely worse. its all good

thanks man. whoa, only 26 watts for the plant? yikes you better invest in some hefty CFL's or something lol. i dont even know what strain this is that im growing. the only info the guy who sold them to me had was that it was from a "bomb batch"..haha and yeah ill def keep posting pics every 5...

thanks guys yeah i know ill need a ballast for the metal halides..i think i'll just hold on to them and buy the ballasts/use them for the next grow as for my nutrient levels right now..i started using primarily 8-7-6 (N-P-K), and as of now im using mostly 8-7-6 still cuz i know more nitrogen...
