i got lucky, bought 10 afgani seeds, all germed, 9 popped up, only 3 males, 6 females. anyone with info on afgani strain?

i have a fungus gnat problem and could use some suggestions. im growing in 5 gal homer buckets, two weeks into 12/12. i tried putting 2 inches of sand on top which worked some what, but when then soil/sand dries out it pulls away from the bucket and they get back down there. think some of that...

the sand thing didnt work that great although it did help. im finding now that when the soil dries it pulls away from my buckets and thats how there getting back into the soil. gonna try some of that filter material that landscapers use to keep the weeds down. matbe they cant get through that...

put a inch or two of clean store bought play sand on top of your soil. if you used enough perlite when mixing your soil it should not be a problem.

couple of inches of clean store bought play sand cured my problem with them.
