You don't really need all seperates as such... My first grow lamp was a security light... I also bought a second one for about €80... Nice cheap easy way of getting growing....! I eventually upgraded to digital ballast as the security lights were magnetic and also mh and hps were NOT...

HPS is fine for veg, the plants may stretch a little bit more then when under MH but nothing to worry about.. The ballast basically converts the electric so as the bulbs will work... Im no sparkie but its something along those lines...

In your opinion, what Sativa would you go for if you were looking for a energetic, creative, clear minded buzz..?? I'm thinking Strawberry cough..? but i haven't a clue.... Thanks for any help you can throw this way..

Been there done that and works a treat in my eyes mate.. I done the obvious MH and HPS but the choice is your during your flowering stage.. Ive looked for those CMH everywhere and at this stage im going to stick with the bulbs i have seen i have the choice of what to run, Its nice to run...
