    berry ryder second try

I always thought it was smart to let the nitrogen be after they start blooming, as in only feeding potassium and phosphate. The leaves on the buds will start to yellow and all the other leaves will basically be used up and dead. IDK I think you're doing just fine keep em going though.

First auto - really small plant, anything to do?

The trick is just to let it go till it's ready. I see a lot of people harvesting too early and they could've waited and had a bigger yield.

Vermiculite at the Bottom of the Pot

Bigger pieces than perlite but it would probably do the job of draining well. Hmmm starting to think I should put hydroton on the bottom of the pot!

Usually when you start budding, you try to take all the Nitrogen out of the soil and plant, and bolster your plants potassium and phosphorous. Nitrogen is what makes the plants have that really deep green look. When you take that away, I could see the plants start to yellow. It is sad like...

Vermiculite at the Bottom of the Pot

I know the differences in vermiculite and perlite, but thanks for the info guys. I won't be using vermiculite in any other grows lol, and The soil on top of the vermiculite is 50/50 perlite/Happy Frog soil. Vermiculite at the Bottom of the Pot

While I was planning my grow, I noticed a guy used vermiculite mixed with perlite in the bottom of his pots when he grows. At the time I thought that would be a great idea! There would be that inch or two in the bottom with water retention and it would be all good and dandy... now 5 weeks into...
