Let's Talk VDP ! best Grow Room/ Tent Design and Equipment for a stable VDP

Going to redesign my grow area for VDP and was hoping those of you that have been doing VDP for awhile could chime in with their expertise. So how would you design it?

Any DIY 'ers wire one of these into their LeD light Yet!

Thanks not even sure the dimming is going to be worth it at this point. The plan is to redesign the grow room for VPD and with the Controller 69 pro you can brighten or dim the lights to dial in VPD. So dimming might not be necessary to have a stable VPD. Going to post a thread in grow room...

Any DIY 'ers wire one of these into their LeD light Yet!

Was thinking about getting the AC infinity Controller 69 pro+ with 8 ports when it comes out next month and was wanting to wire these adapters into my DiY Light with Meanwell HGL drivers. They make two versions one for resistance dimming and one for PWM/ 1-10 voltage, either would work for me...

    A little tea question

It will eventually get broken down and add nitrogen, dried might be better for a tea though just like people tea is mostly made with dried leaves. If you have any feed stores nearby you can get alfalfa cheap and bubble it in a tea, but alfalfa is better for veg wouldn't want to add it late in...

Those who get geeky about soil science, like me, i need your opinions on this!

Good stuff , for sure in line with living soil /no till ways of growing. Going to make one of those bio reactors when I get a chance For sure want some of that awesome fungal based compost. Thanks for posting

Is this Molasses ok to us as a top dress?

I wouldn't top dress molasses in any form, I Add it to teas that are brewed for 36 hours so the bacteria multiply by using the molasses as a food source, by the time you apply it to the soil most of the sugar is gone so it won't kill your micro herd in your soil.

Outside bulk worm castings for indoors?

Springtails are the little white bugs quite common in worm farms, no need to worry about them. For a living soil I would use it for sure, miles and the nematodes will keep pests at a minimum. You don't really need the glue traps as they can kill beneficials insects along with the bad. Best...

    Is this light okay

Not really I would find a decent LED going to put out a lot more light with quite a bit less heat.

New to soil; How often are you watering?

In organics you really are worried more about the bacteria and fungi than the plant. So ideally you would want the soil to remain at a more constant hydration level for peak bacterial activity. Water to run off and you are flooding your microherd, it takes a bit of time to get back into optimum...

    Bubbling organic feeds

Depends what kind of nutes you are bubbling up, but for most bottled nutes are already soluble to the plants so no need to have bacteria eat it first and make it soluble like if you were using organic amendments. But I would bubble it anyways as it oxygenates the water and also helps keep it...

Understanding why Ph is irrelevant with organics

This section is fubar because of all the bad advice in here. Should be sectioned out living organics, super soil organics, Bottled organics , hydro organics. All different styles of growing that are for the most part not interchangeable. Sure someone can go buy a bag of soil and dump it in...

Understanding why Ph is irrelevant with organics

If you have a low threshold for ignorance you best hit the books because PH matters in all organics What you are proposing is the exact opposite of the whole of scientific data.

Did my Meanwell driver short itself?

Get ahold of Meanwell see if they will RMA the driver. They have a 7 year warranty.

Did my Meanwell driver short itself?

That's not a short circuit which can for sure fry stuff but rather a open neutral , driver should be fine hook the blue back up securely and it should work .
