There is speculation that the foil causes hot spots and will burn the plant. I personally to think this is true. For the leaves to burn there would have to be multiple points of refection that would have to focus on one point, like frying a ant with a magnifying glass. I think you will be fine.

Whats the distance between the light and the top of plants? I try to keep mine about 12 inches from the top with a fan blowing between the light and the plants, helps.

I am using FF nutes myself and am having great success. I did have problems with the Big Bloom settling to the bottom of the res but with a small 10$ water pump circulating the bottom of the res all problems solved.

What size rockwool? if it is the 1 inch cubes I would go with a 4 times a day for 20-30 min and if your going with the big 4 inch one a 2-3 times a day for 15 min. This should work fine. All strains are different so you may have to adjust as needed, dry looking before/ droopy after watering.
