Hi new member here need some help with going from taproot to soil

When you plant them in the soil, make sure you are covering them completely with fine soil and don't smash down the dirt. Water them and leave them and they will push through. Good luck man.

Hi new member here need some help with going from taproot to soil

Getting seeds to germinate can be tricky. Of course it depends on the seed. Some seed husks are very tough and I've heard and tried a method to get them to sprout....but you need to be careful using this method. Do you know what an emery board is? Its like a cardboard fingernail file you can buy...

My Second Grow - Story with a good ending

I joined up here a long time ago and I started to grow my first plant to see how I would do. Well I had troubles and that plant ended up being a male and I BBQ'd it o_O Anyway, I had to focus on some work and had some personal problems and didn't try again at that point. Almost a couple months...

    Greetings

Hey thanks for the warm welcome. Yeah I just topped my first plant and have learned a lot here. I got lucky and found this place when I needed answers when I over-watered my plant. So far...so good. I guess we will see what happens on my first grow. Cheers!

This is what overwatering does... Now what?

You know I was just about to find out more about topping and when I should start doing this. By the way, I decided to transplant her after all and I did this. The plant went into shock soon after, but then rebounded in 20-30 minutes like nothing happened. She looks good now and I'm done messing...

    Soil Moisture Meters...Do They Work?

I know this is a really old thread and I am new here, but I thought I would put this here in case someone needs to know how much water they have in their plants, and hopefully it will help someone. I over-watered one of my plants and she started to wilt. I knew I had done bad and my plant is now...

This is what overwatering does... Now what?

Thanks for the reply! Sorry it took so long to get back with working two jobs and all. I snipped the ends of the wilted leaves. The plant is doing very well. I don't have a way to gauge the deep soil moisture. I have some things on my list like a moisture meter for getting down to the roots to...

This is what overwatering does... Now what?

Thanks, I'm doing that and I picked up the gallon pot she's in and it's pretty heavy, so you can tell that there is still a lot of moisture. One of the leaves (the bottom most leaf) is drying and obviously dying. I am wondering if I should do something about that or not. I have seen people cut...

This is what overwatering does... Now what?

Hello and thanks for the reply. Ok... I will follow your suggestion. Now to try and find out how to get fish emulsion. I am not in the USA, but am from San Diego. Over here in Ukraine stuff is a little hard to find. I am guessing that same garden shop I got my soil from will know. Cheers

    Greetings

Hello to everyone here. I've been an avid smoker of the green for a long time now. And thinking about how long...I just realized...man I am getting old! Anyway, I decided just recently to start studying about growing and 3 weeks ago my first seed popped a taproot. Going into week four...

This is what overwatering does... Now what?

First of all, I want to say hello to everyone and intro myself a little. This is my first time growing and I've spent a lot of time here reading and getting the information that I needed to get started. I decided the best thing to do was start to grow with a single plant. No sense in wasting a...
