if you transplant them right and be gentle they shouldnt miss a step... the rooting cubes protect them enough to limit very much so transplant shock...
now.. with that said i can tell yours didnt miss a beat either.. they are growing about as they should... some times plants just take longer...
up to 1/2 or 2/3 strength.. they should be fine with that...
plants dont need rest and are fine under a 24/0 schedule for veg (its what i use and am using it currently to flower some autos under)... your call tho..
i dont know what sort of intervals you can set your drip system to to...
alright.... so good news today!
1 of the 2 girls made it through and has recouped... i hacked her up right at the switch, essentially i lollipopped her... must have stressed her out bad.. shes good now... the other girl is still.. well... deathly looking.. im going to cut her down if she doesnt...
normally they shouldnt be doing that.... its not a standard mj trait by any means...
but i really have no answer for it...
i have a couple things i can ask that may lead me to an answer tho...
1) whats the low temp and high humidity at night?? worst case of both...
2) what type of light are...
im not really really worried about them if they dont pull through.. i could use the extra space for the others to spread out...
on the next run i am going to cut back to 14 girls anyways... and have fewer sites on each available feed line.. make it easier to move them as needed with less worry...
they are looking better for sure... they will recoup over time.. whatever it is that did happen is passing now... looks like they'll be fine..
if you are using an additive that is dark colored then the brownish roots are fine... if not then it sounds like a possible case of root rot (setting...
from seed i would say you have 3 to 4 weeks from seed or clone in a 3" cube with little worry... here is a rough time line...
day 1 is when you place the soaked seed in the cube
2 to 5 days for them to all pop (so 3 to 6 days total)
another 3 to 5 days for them to upright themselves (so 6 to...
have my first hit of bad news today....
2 of the 16 large girls are doing something similar to what those weird plants did my last grow..
i flip to flowering and they start to sag/die...
im going to give them a day or two to recoup.. see if its just stress from the flip... but if they dont...
basically what i am saying is this...
grow out your beans as you want to and flower them as normal...
about 4 weeks before they finish take cuttings from them.. so you are taking the cuttings from flowering plants...
take the cuttings as you normally would and let them revert and...
if you are using a floro unit its not light bleaching... i have 4 x 4 bulb tt105 floro ballasts that put off 44000 lumens each and i keep them closer than that with no issues.. i imagine the lightening is coming from a lack of N in their diet.. give them a dose of grow nutes (or a larger dose if...
the twisting i still think is just a genetic thing.. nothing bad.. but genetics control growth patterns... so if there are no reasons for the abnormal growth or leaf twisting it has to be genetics... it doesnt mean it will be a bad plant/strain.. just that its a fluke in the system...
weird...
oh yeah...
you cant get fem'd seeds from pollinating a female with male pollen.. the pollen from a male contains male, female, and possibily hermie genetics...
to get the home version of fem'd seeds you have to take a female, stress it to hermie, take the pollen from the hermie, and pollinate...
alright... if i were you here is what i would do... before i tell you this tho i want to say i am only saying this because you know your genetics are good genetics... if they were bag seeds i wouldnt say this at all..
i would buy a couple 2 bulb 4ft shop light floros...
at week 4 of...
i dont know much about ak48 as its a newer strain...
if its anything like ak47 it shouldnt be too hard... maybe a 5 or 6 on the difficulty scale
a female is ready to be pollinated as soon as the males release their pollen.. so yes your female can be pollinated...
you can pollinate small...
i would be paranoid too bro... but i think a portion of our paranoia is that "their watching me" mentality... where we look something may look more supicious than it really does... but i wonder if my roof does it also... i should look...
hows the fam doin?? baby doin well?
shit.. missed part of the question.. lol
you dont need shit for lumens to sprout with... a couple 2 foot bulbs would be enough.. assuming you are only talking about a few right??
as for moms i would say you want about 100ws per mom... should suffice
